Heavy snowstorm Thur. Nov. 17-38
Big snow storm. roads [sic] blocked. Fri. Dec. 25-38
Another big storm Sun. Dec. 27-38
Dec 3rd 1938- 11 below zero, nice & clear. lots of snow. I wooked [sic] weekend
Dec 4th ” – Mild with rain.
Dec 5 – 38. very mild & clear.
Chelsey Pickard died Fri a.m. Dec. 10-38
No snow on the ground Dec. 12-38
Old Mrs. Wilson died Fri. Dec. 16-38.
Rev. J.B. Daggett died Jan. 15-39 – at Kingston. NS.
Ruth had stroke. Sun. Jan 22-39
Tur. Jan. 26-39. very cold day. high wind.
Mrs. Wm [sic] Saunders died. Sun. Feb. 5 – 39.
Accidently shot nephew. Feb. 4-39.
Rosalie married. Feb 4th Sat – 39.
Pretty home wedding.
