Wm [sic] Moore Sr. in charge with Fred Collings

(Had the Sisters’ [sic] to my house to Turkey Dinner Fri  Mar 31-39 [sic])
Sick with Flu. Tue Feb 21-39
Fri. morn. Feb. 24-39. -24 below zero.
Gerald Allen very sick from Sking [sic] accident on
Feb. 19-39.  In hospital week of 21 Mar 39
Mrs. Wallace Mitchell died in Hospital Sun. A.M. Mar. 5-39.
March 8-39 – Wed. very cold day, strong wind
Started painting wing weave room last of Feb or 1st of Mar. -39 [sic]
Started on 4 dys [sic] week of Mar. 21-39, whole mill.
Some of mill 3 or 4 days before, other parts 5 days
Mrs. Elbrige [sic] Staples died in F’ton, Apr. 8-39 Sat P.M.

Mr. Clayton died. Dec. 3-37.
Lovely day Dec. 6-37 – no snow.
Tommy Mitchell’s section shut down upstairs. Doe Skin. De. 18-37.
Mrs. John Sloat died at the home of her daughter Mrs.
E. Walker. Dec 20-37.
King George VI spoke to his people over radio
Xmas Day 1937. Xmas Day snowed all day
Gladys got diamond for Xmas. 1937.
Mr. Sam Arnold died. Wed a.m. Dec. 29.-37.

Cousin Leila Logan West here from Spokane,Wash. Oct, 1937.
first visit in 30. yrs.

Sade Walker came home from Hospital Mon. Oct 18-37.

Mary Pickard died suddenly, while vacationing
at Grand Lake, Fri – Aug 19-37 buried Sunday 21-37
Mr. E. Daley died Tue. Aug. 23-37
Efficiency men here in Aug. 1937
Old Mrs. Stevenson died.  Fri night Aug. 27-37. 96 yrs
Sade Walker taken to hospital in ambulance
& operated upon Labor Day Sept. 6-37
Nellie & I went with her.

Infantile Paralysis outbreak.
